About Connect Fruit

How to play Connect Fruit
Connect Fruit is our jungle take on Connect Four, played on a grid seven columns wide and six rows tall. On your turn you drop a piece into a column and it falls to the lowest open slot. The goal is to be first to line up four of your fruit in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Because pieces stack from the bottom, where you drop matters as much as when. Play a friend by link, race a stranger through matchmaking, share one device, or take on the bot.
Tips & strategy
- Play the center column early. More winning lines pass through the middle than the edges, so central control gives you more ways to win.
- Watch the diagonals — they are the easiest threats to miss, both yours and your opponent's.
- Build two threats at once. If you can set up a move that completes a four in two different places, your opponent cannot block both.
- Think one drop ahead: avoid giving your opponent a winning square by filling the slot directly beneath it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the first player have an advantage?
Yes. With perfect play the player who moves first can force a win by starting in the center column — but a single inaccuracy hands the game back, so most real games are decided by tactics.
How big is the board?
Seven columns by six rows, the standard Connect Four size, for 42 total slots.
Can I play someone in another city?
Yes — share your invite link with anyone, or use stranger matchmaking to get paired with another player online in seconds.
