How do I play a game online with a friend?
Pick any 2-player game and hit the Friend button. You get one shareable link — send it to your friend, and the moment they open it you're playing together. No accounts, apps, or friend codes needed.
Can I play against other players?
Yes — hit the Opponent button on any 2-player game and our matchmaking pairs you with another player in seconds. Players can only exchange game moves and a fixed set of emoji, so matches stay friendly.
Is ToucanPlay really free?
Completely free. No downloads, no sign-ups, no paywalls — the site is supported by ads. Every game runs instantly in your browser on phone, tablet, or desktop.
What games can two players play online?
ToucanPlay has tic-tac-toe, Ultimate tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, checkers, gomoku, hangman, snakes and ladders, dots and boxes, rock paper scissors, and Word Duel — all playable with a friend via link, with an opponent via matchmaking, pass-and-play on one device, or against the bot.
